The Friends of the Fayette County Public Library organization is made up of YOU and other individuals, families and businesses who desire for the library and its community to thrive! Membership is available at many levels and supports all of the enriching programs and resources that make The Fayette County Public Library stand head and shoulders above the rest.

Receive our newsletter with Friends information and announcements
Can shop early at our In-Person and Online Book Sales. Our twice-a-year in-person book sales are open to Friends Members only before the general public is admitted. Monthly online sales are also only available to members twenty-four hours before the general public. Members get the first selections!
Can take advantage of our Book Concierge service. Any Member can request a book or author that he or she is interested in and our Book Sale Team will search our inventory for the request, allowing the member to purchase that book or books. This service is available for members year-round!
Receive tax donations for yearly dues and donations
Are advocates for the Public Library System
Make a difference in the community by helping in the decision-making process of the organization.
